Summer meets Autumn - the Perfect Gathering

The autumn equinox is in sight and at this special time of year, the floral world beautifully merges two seasons together. All the rich, saturated colour found in blooms such as dahlias and zinnias are still about while vines, fruits, and foliage start to make their welcome way into displays and arrangements. Despite those gorgeous richer hues creeping in, we’ve still got one foot in the sunnier months and will be combining them with pastel tones - as expertly demonstrated by our Senior Florist, Gemma.
The fresh, bountiful Avalanche rose is a nod to summer - it’s multitude of layers are almost hypnotizing whilst apple green guelder rose is reminiscent of verdant meadows on sun-drenched days. The appearance of helenium is the clue that a new season is lingering - while daisy-like in shape, their russet tone more hints at the mellowing days ahead.
