Taking the opportunity to make the most of the glorious September weather, the grounds of the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park made the perfect backdrop for our colourful, quintessential table setting. The first step to creating the ultimate high summer ambiance was choosing the linen - the experts at Summerill & Bishop selected their signature quintessential pink and white striped design inspired by long Mediterranean summer days.

To celebrate the last days of summer our team, lead by Head of Events, Megan didn’t hold back on the florals. A riot of colour and texture cascaded down the table - height and drama provided by sculptural eremurus and dancing nerines whilst cloud-like hydrangea provided plenty of frothy texture. Seasonal favourite echinacea and an assortment of vessels add a playful element to proceedings - the perfect setting for an alfresco soiree!
